This panel is a continuation of a conversation by Frantz Voltaire from <\/span>CIDIHCA<\/b>, Vanessa Kanga from the <\/span>Afropolitan Nomad Festival<\/b>, and Pascale Kaniasta Annoual from <\/span>Arts, Racines et Th\u00e9rapies<\/b>, three local personalities with a great deal of knowledge.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In 2020, D\u00e9sir won the Prix de la danse de Montr\u00e9al\u2019s Grand Prix, awarded to her by Quebecor and Ville de Montr\u00e9al. She was the first Black woman and the youngest choreographer to receive this honour for her work Bow\u2019t Trail.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
