This is an offbeat, intelligent, hilarious, and surprising comedy that includes extra sketches. The sisters are more energetic than ever before, warning us not to be overwhelmed by their “soft” side through their unambiguous “Nou Ka Mou, Men N’ Gen Grenn!” slogan. The show has a hard core, just like the avocado—the fruit the sisters named their show after. This is obvious from the themes the sisters have chosen. A show for all ages. Not intended for the innocent at heart!!!

The lead actress in Pawòl Chouchoun (the Haitian version of The Vagina Monologues), CYNTHIA JEAN-LOUIS was crowned 2016 Comedian of the Year by the country’s Le Nouvelliste for her Cynthia fait son show performance. GARIHANNA JEAN-LOUIS was the first black graduate from Quebec’s École nationale de l’humour. She received the 2017 Prix Révélation for performing with her sister Cynthia during Haiti’s Festival du rire.

SYNOPSIS: Recy Taylor, a 24-year-old black mother and sharecropper, was gang raped by six white boys in 1944 Alabama. Common in Jim Crow South, few women spoke up in fear for their lives. Not Recy Taylor, who bravely identified her rapists. The NAACP sent its chief rape investigator Rosa Parks, who rallied support and triggered an unprecedented outcry for justice. This film exposes a legacy of physical abuse of black women and reveals Rosa Parks’ intimate role in Recy Taylor’s story. « Recy Taylor, a name I know and I think you should know, too » OPRAH WINFREY during her acceptance speech at the 2018 Golden Globes Awards (as first black woman to ever receive the Cecil B. DeMille Award for lifetime achievement at the Golden Globes)
